The City of Phoenix Youth and Education Commission recently recognized 13 of the valley’s Outstanding Young Man and Young Woman awards at the Mayor’s Luncheon on April 27, 2006. One young man and one young woman were selected as the Council District winner in each of the eight districts after being nominated by a teacher or mentor. Each student was awarded $250, recognized at the Mayor’s luncheon and featured in numerous publications.

Kristi Beaudoin was nominated by Ms. Melissa Lopez at North Canyon High School, where Kristi is a junior. |
