The AZ Public Schools Making a Difference Every Day campaign was created to tell the good stories and successes happening every day in Arizona’s public schools. This is the second email newsletter of the 2008 campaign.

The full campaign—including TV advertisements, regular email newsletters and more—will continue in 2008 through the end of the school year.

Incarcerated boys reach for the stars - Boys who are sent to Eagle Point School in Buckeye are rapidly running out of chances, but one teacher is helping the troubled teens reach for the stars. Whitmore Elementary School has reaped the benefits of saving energy. The school won the $5,000 first-place award in the Tucson Unified School District (TUSD) Resource Efficiency Awareness Program (REAP) for fiscal year 2007.
