The AZ Public Schools Making A Difference Every Day campaign was developed out of our belief that the discussion of public education in Arizona is out of balance. Even though there are good things happening in public schools all over our state, the news is filled with an almost endless barrage of stories about the things that are “wrong” with our schools. It really can’t be much a surprise then that the discourse about public education focuses on the bad and ignores the good.

In this environment of negative publicity, it is almost impossible to have reasonable discussions about what steps need to be taken to make Arizona’s schools, and thus her students, the best in the nation. Someone needs to level the playing field, to balance the torrent of bad news with stories about the good things that are happening in public schools, and this campaign is an effort to do that.

You likely know that great things are happening in your child's school or your neighborhood school. But you may not be aware of the inspiring things happening in public schools throughout Arizona. In the coming months, we will showcase the success stories in public education across the state. And it all starts with you. Send us your stories and join the effort to demonstrate that Arizona Public Schools Make a Difference Every Day!

The AZ Public Schools Making A Difference Every Day campaign is a non-political and non-partisan effort brought to you in part by the Arizona School Boards Association (ASBA), the Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA), the Arizona Rural Schools Association (ARSA), the Arizona School Administrators (ASA), the Association of Arizona School Business Officials (AASBO) the Greater Phoenix Education Management Council (GPEMC), and the Arizona Education Association (AEA).

Tell us about the good news about teachers and students who are making a difference at your school.
